Off to Paris with Team Rynkeby

Florian Prüstel, part of our management team, is taking a special step this year: he is actively participating in the grand tour to Paris with Team Rynkeby. As a company, we have been supporting this project with conviction for years.

“I’m passionate about mountain biking, but I switched to a road bike for this project,” says Florian. “It was time to not only support, but to actively take part myself.”

The preparation for the long tour is intensive: several times a week, he trains with friends in the Black Forest after work to work on altitude and endurance. Group training sessions are also part of this. You learn to ride in a group, communicate with hand signals and motivate each other.

How are things going? “I’m feeling really good at the moment. The training is fun and I’ve already met a lot of nice fellow cyclists.”

“At the moment, I have respect for riding just one bike length away from the rider in front. You need to pay full attention even after the first 100 km.” But even that will improve with the training and he is already looking forward to the tour.

We are keeping our fingers crossed for Florian and the entire Team Rynkeby for the tour.
