For us, sustainable mobility doesn’t start on the road—it begins right here on our company grounds.
To ensure our drivers can use their electric trucks efficiently, we now have our own charging infrastructure at our Callenberg location. This allows drivers to charge their electric trucks at three 400-kW Alpitronic charging stations, each with four charging points, in preparation for upcoming trips.
For us and our drivers, this step means greater flexibility in our daily work and a scheduling process that can be increasingly integrated with legally mandated break times.
The construction of the charging stations in Callenberg is being funded under the Electric Mobility Funding Guidelines with a total of €120,000.00 from the Federal Ministry of Transport. Funding for this initiative is also being provided as part of the German Recovery and Resilience Plan (DARP) through the European Recovery and Resilience Facility (ARF) under the NextGenerationEU program. The funding guidelines are coordinated by NOW GmbH and implemented by the Project Management Agency Jülich (PtJ).
